I am so grateful to work in such a caring community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the thoughtful gifts.
It was a joy to watch your children in the Christmas show this past week and get ourselves into the Christmas spirit. I am looking forward to spending time with family and friends this Christmas season and hope that you take the time to do the same.

I cannot believe that Christmas is right around the corner! I hope that everyone is enjoying the season and getting ready for Christmas! Over the holidays please be sure to restock pencil cases/ art boxes as we are running low on pens, pencils. etc. Thank you for all that you do for your children each day!

Today we got our report cards. You will see that in 4th grade the children get NUMBER grades for each subject. These grades should not come as a surprise if you have been checking up on OptionC. Please be sure to return the envelope SIGNED tomorrow or Friday.

I cannot believe the 1st Trimester is coming to a close and it is already December! Time sure does fly.
A few requests... We are running low on tissues (colds have been among us) and pens/pencils have been missing/running low on ink. If you are able to send in tissues that would be greatly appreciated. Also, please be sure your child's pencil case is stocked with the proper writing utensils.
In other news... The Christmas show is coming, students are to wear black bottoms and a white top. Remember the stage can be warm so the lighter the better! Students who are shepherds got separate instructions.

I have enjoyed meeting with you for Parent-Teacher conferences to discuss your child's progress so far this year. We have been working hard on various projects and the children are doing great. All grades are up to date on Option C for your viewing.
A few reminders for next week: The book report is DUE on Friday, October 27! Please follow the directions on Google Classroom. (Cut out the book report and bring it to school for assembly).
We will also have a Science Test on Thursday October 26 (4A) and Friday October 27 (4B). The study guide is under Study Guides and Rubrics Tab!!!

Happy Friday! Thank you to all who have returned Field Trip Forms and Signed Up for Conferences. If you haven't done so Conference Scheduling Closes TONIGHT. The link was sent in an e-mail from Sister Theresa. I look forward to meeting with you next week!
Please also send in any remaining Field Trip Forms. We will also be making a scarecrow with the theme of SGS Spirit. Anything you can send in would be greatly appreciated (all will be returned). Please have this in by October 17.

We had a great first week of school! I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Back to School Night on Thursday. If you haven't done so already, please be sure all workbooks and your child's homework book are covered in clear contact paper. We have 3 textbooks that will travel from school to home and I ask that these are either covered in Book Sox or Brown Paper. If you choose book sox please send them to school. I will send other textbooks home for covering in brown paper.
Specials begin this week, WE HAVE GYM ON MONDAY. Be sure to wear the proper gym uniform and bring a water bottle.
